Met Office are a cool jazz quartet, playing compositions from the 1950s,'60s and '70's, with a couple of compositions created by the band - featuring tunes the likes of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Karl Jenkins, and John Coltrane.With Fliss Elsom-Cook (Soprano and Alto saxophones), Caitlin Todd (drums and percussion), David Mcleish (keyboards), and Tim Skelton(electric bass), the band has been gigging regularly around North Northumberland for two years and will play its first Newcastle gig in early August.
