Alex Cornish - Shuna Lovelle - Pocket Monica

Our next taster is Saturday 4 June at Dunbar Parish Hall.

Join us for another night of stunning musical talent, celebrate the Bank Holiday weekend and support live music in Dunbar.

Alex Cornish

Dunbar-based Alex has released seven albums since his debut in 2008, and has performed nationally and internationally alongside a host of artists including Alison Moyet, Ellie Goulding, Starsailor and Idlewild. His music has been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and XFM Scotland and showcased as The Sunday Times' 'hottest download of the week'.

Shuna Lovelle

Shuna Lovelle is a soul inspired artist that created a big impression on the audience at the 2021 Dunbar Music Festival with her set at our Harbour Battery event. Shuna mixes her deep vocals with pop, dub-step and break-beat grooves to mould her sound. Her latest tracks have all been championed by Nick Roberts through BBC Introducing.

Pocket Monica

A brand new project featuring Dunbar's own Iona Z. Describing themselves as a weird electro pop/psych-folk duo, they're a unique mix of deep soulful vocals, mesmerising rhythms and trad instrumentation. Descriptions don't do them justice though. You need to hear them.

About our taster sessions for 2022

We're trialling a new approach for 2022 as we look towards the Festival in September.

We want to bring more live music to Dunbar and raise a few quid to help us put on another storming festival later in the year.

Follow us on social media to be the first to find out about these special one-offs that we'll host at a range of venues around town.
